Alia Benefits is a portable benefits platform that makes it easy for clients and employers to contribute to the benefits for the domestic worker who works in their home. Benefits include Paid Time Off and accident insurance.

ALIA BENEFITS ARE:

  • Portable: Benefits are attached to the worker, not the employer. When a worker loses or adds a new client, benefits are uninterrupted.

  • Prorated: Contributions are proportional to the service received, so someone who receives a weekly house cleaning would contribute more to the benefits of her house cleaner than someone who received a monthly cleaning.

  • Multi-contributor: Workers can receive contributions from many employers and clients, which are then used to claim benefits.

Alia Benefits was designed for house cleaners, who have the most difficult conditions to provide portable benefits for. We know that if we. can make benefits for house cleaners, we can make them work for everyone.
